Life has shifted beneath our feet, and we are facing a new normal. Have you adjusted to the new normal?

If you’ve been listening to the podcast over the past few weeks, you’ll know that I’ve been focusing on leading during crisis, specifically the crisis of COVID-19. Two weeks ago I focused on characteristics of leaders who thrive during crisis, last week I focused on things leaders do to care for themselves during crisis, and this week I’ll focus on specific leadership strategies that will help you to lead your team effectively. Where two weeks ago I focused on some broader principles that are specific to the individual leader, today I am talking about strategies to implement across your whole organization. These strategies are a little more specific and a little more action oriented.

There is no handbook for leading during global pandemics in the year 2020, but there is the handbook of history. This isn’t the first time a crisis has happened, and it certainly won’t be the last. The strategies I’ll be sharing with you today have been tested time and time again throughout history. Great leaders and great teams have been using theses strategies to enable their success for decades, even centuries.

I hope you’ll join me this week!
